Finding a good care home for an elderly close relative is a daunting prospect. Fortunately, we visited Hendra over six years ago and are so relieved that we did and that a place was available. It is an absolute gem with a very fine reputation which is well deserved. Its residents belong to a very caring and friendly family which exists because of the owners? and management?s very professional leadership, a commitment to ongoing training, staff development and sheer hard work of all staff, with a good dose of love.
It is truly a happy place which fosters a feeling of belonging and fun. The staff go to great lengths to raise extra funds for trips, activities and facilities for the benefit of its clients. There is no way we could provide such a beneficial environment for my wife?s mother to be in. We have every faith in the home and their concern to provide the very best for the members of the ?family? that lives there. I would have absolutely no reservation about recommending it to others.
