About Us

Hendra House is an established family run residential home located in the beautiful and unspoilt market town of Ludlow in the heart of the South Shropshire countryside and is easily accessible by both road and public transport.

Hendra House enjoys a deserved national and local reputation for consistently delivering high quality care to meet the individual needs of its resident?s and their loved ones.

A measure of the quality of service can be measured by the fact that the home was voted Care Home of the Year the at the Caring UK National Awards held in November 2019.

Outstanding Quality Care

Hendra House is registered by the Care Quality Commission (CQC), to provide individual residential accommodation with en-suite facilities for 28 older people and accepts residents who are either self-funding or funded either in part, or wholly by the local authority.

The home achieved the coveted “Outstanding” rating in July 2015 by the Care Quality Commission and was the first home in the area to achieve this coveted accolade.
