Today saw the start of our kitchen refurbishment. This project has been in the planning for the past six months, and has involved the input and views of many members of Team Hendra.
Before starting, we had to set up a temporary kitchen in the dining room as we only had a four-day window to complete the project. A temporary kitchen has been established, and our contractors are removing all the old equipment while installing new connections.
Here we see plumber Carl temporarily removing the smoke detectors before he starts soldering the new pipework, so as not to set off the fire alarms.
