We identified in the last blog the passing of two of our much-loved residents.
Sadly we have to announce the passing of four further residents: Evelyn Price, Jean Peachey, Barbara Fortnam and John Clent.
Vince stated that during his 25 years in the care sector, he had never experienced so many passings in such a short period of time.
The passing of the resident has a profound impact on both fellow residents and staff alike, and the home has been supporting family members, residents and staff during these difficult and unprecedented times.
Staff have attended all of the funerals which have taken place to date and have been overwhelmed by the positive comments from all families for the quality of care their loved ones received during their time at the home.
We thank all family members for your love and support and take great comfort in the fact that we were able to meet and often exceed your expectations.
We will miss you all.
