As a carer you never sure when your skills may be invaluable as Michelle Griffiths one of our Lead Practitioners found out on the first day of her holiday in Wales.
Whilst out walking with her husband she came across an elderly lady who had fallen resulting in facial injuries and a possible fractured femur.
Chell managed the scene in true Hendra style and made the lady as comfortable possible after calling for the emergency services.
She then made contact with the ladies family who were nearby, and obtained a full medical history resulting in a detailed handover to the paramedic crew who were greatly appreciative of her actions on behalf of the casualty.
