Imagine the disappointment of our residents who had wrapped themselves up on a bitterly cold night to see the Orleton Young Farmers Charity Tractor Run only to discover that the event leader took the wrong route and missed passing Hendra House.
The one driver who was separated from the rest of the group passed the home and apologised for the error.
Let’s hope the hot chocolate and mince pies helped to address the residents and staff’s disappointment.
