We as a home recognise the contribution that our staff make to the success of the home and the quality of service delivered to our residents.
We are also aware of the financial difficulties and pressures that our staff are under and for this reason we have decided to implement the increases identified in the NMW wage, which comes into effect on 1st of April three months early in recognition of their efforts and commitment to the home and our residents. This will, in effect provide them with an immediate increase in gross pay of over 9%.
Whilst this will have an impact on the profitability of the business, it will ensure that we recognise and reward our most valuable asset, namely our amazing staff.
