As identified previously lateral flow tests have been completed for all staff and this will be followed by PCR tests for all staff and residents to maximise infection control measures during the recent surge in new cases.
I am delighted to announce that the LFT tests for all residents have come back negative, which is reassuring and hopefully, the two members of staff who previously tested positive has not passed on the infection to our residents.
However, in accordance with current guidelines, we will be classed as being in “Outbreak” until 2nd April 2022. Continued testing will be carried out within the home, but should further outbreaks occur, the date identified will be modified accordingly.
During this period normal prebooked door visits will be permitted, and visits in the conservatory will be permitted to the designated “Caregiver” (One per family), which will remain so long as the relevant booking and pre-testing arrangements are completed.
