It would be fair to say that the match was played in a very competitive manner.
With a number of players carrying knocks prior to the game, it was never going to be easy, but everyone’s commitment was amazing.
The weather was atrocious, with both sides giving their all. To add to our injury problems
Catia suffered a blow in the face during the game but continued playing once she had recovered.
Hendra took the spoils in the first half leading 3-1 but this did not reflect the performance of Clare in goal for Hendra who made a number of crucial saves from the Hagley forwards.
The second half was more even with no further goal as Hendra ran out 3 – 1 winners.
The team received vocal support from families and residents on the pitch and the match was streamed to our residents in the home by Rosie ensuring they kept up with events as they happened.
