As many of you may know Vince?s passion away from Hendra House is National Hunt Racing horseracing.
Vince along with a number of friends purchased a un-named horse at the recent sales. By collaboration, arm twisting and threats to their well-being, they have collectively agreed that the horse should be called Hendra House.
The horse, a 4-year-old, by the top sire Yates will be trained by Kim Bailey at Andoversford, just outside Cheltenham.
Kim is one of the country?s top trainers and is one of only two people to have trained the winner of the Grand National, Cheltenham Gold Cup and Champion Hurdle
Whilst ownership of the horse is not connected to the business it is hoped that the residents and staff will be able to visit the stables and see the horse grow and develop at various stages of his career as well as taking an interest when he run?s.
As one resident said, ?With a name like Hendra House he is bound to be a winner?, lets hope they are right.
