Like the rest of the nation, Hendra House watched and enjoyed the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla.
For most of the staff, this was the first time they had witnessed this amazing event. Still, they were enlightened to hear stories from residents about the Coronation of the previous and much-loved queen in 1953, with some even remembering the Coronation of the Queen’s father, King George, in 1937.
The home was decorated in Red, White and Blue and a scrumptious meal was provided by our kitchen staff.
A very special day enjoyed by everyone.
