If ever further evidence of what an amazing team we have at Hendra House was necessary, we were all amazed when a member of staff who has been isolating after suffering a bad bout of the Covid virus decided to send a basket of goodies for her colleagues who had been covering her shifts whilst she was away.
We hope that everyone acknowledges the commitment that our staff give to ensure our residents remain as safe as possible.
Sadly, the staff member who had been in training to take part in a double marathon for many months could not take part as the severity of her illness prevented her from completing this personal goal.
Fortunately, the person concerned has returned to work and continues to deliver the high level of care we have come to expect from her.
